These guidelines are designed to set clear expectations and protect all parties involved in your dream luxury tour to Egypt, Jordan, Israel, and beyond.

We encourage all participants on our customized Egypt tour packages to embark on their journey with an open mind, an active curiosity, and respectful courtesy towards others. A positive attitude towards the host country's people, culture, and way of life significantly enhances your cultural immersion. Please note that lodging and meals, particularly outside major metropolitan areas, may differ from what you are accustomed to at home. We invite you to embrace these distinctions with a spirit of adventure, which is often the most rewarding aspect of foreign travel.

EgyptTours.com reserves the right to refuse service or terminate the participation of any tour participant whose health or mental condition, or physical infirmity, impedes the smooth operation of the tour, or whose conduct is disruptive or discourteous to other guests.

Reservations & Secure Payment for Your Egypt Tours

A deposit of $600 per person is required at the time of booking to secure your Egypt tour reservation. The final payment for all tour packages is due 65 days prior to your departure date. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation if full payment is not received by the stipulated due date, with applicable cancellation charges assessed. Booking your Egypt Package early ensures your preferred dates and guarantees your tour price.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. Our cancellation penalties are structured as follows:

  • 65 days or more prior to departure: $250 per person administrative fee.

  • 59-45 days prior to departure: 15% of the total tour cost.

  • 44-15 days prior to departure: 22% of the total tour cost.

  • 14-7 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost.

  • 6 days or less prior to departure: Considered a "no-show," resulting in no refund.

All arrangements are inclusive. No refunds are granted for unused accommodations, meals, or if Nile cruise ships alter their itineraries due to circumstances beyond our control. All cancellations must be submitted in writing (via fax or email) and must be received at least 60 days prior to the tour date to be eligible for a refund, subject to the penalty schedule above.

Essential Travel Insurance Recommendation

Your peace of mind is paramount. We strongly recommend and advise that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance. A robust policy can provide vital coverage for potential losses, including:

  • Damage or loss to luggage.

  • Medical emergencies that your domestic insurance may not cover while traveling overseas.

  • Travel interruption or unforeseen expenses due to trip cancellation.

  • Other unexpected incidents that might impact your Egypt vacation.

What Your Tour Price Excludes

To provide complete transparency, the following charges are not included in your tour price unless specifically mentioned in your individual itinerary:

  • Passport and visa fees (e.g., Egypt visa requirements).

  • Laundry services.

  • Telephone calls.

  • Alcoholic beverages, including wine and beer.

  • Mineral water (unless specified).

  • All forms of personal insurance.

  • Custom duties.

  • Gratuities for tour guides, tour escorts, Egyptologists, and drivers.

  • Excess baggage charges.

  • Extra charges for food ordered a la carte or via room service.

These excluded charges must be settled directly with the hotel or restaurant.

Documentation for Your Egypt Adventure

Final travel documents, including vouchers, air tickets (if your Egypt tour package was purchased as an air/land combination), and general informational materials, will be dispatched approximately 2 to 3 weeks prior to your departure, provided that full and final payment has been successfully received.

Our Price Guarantee & Flexibility

Our published prices are based on prevailing foreign exchange rates. While we aim for stability, should currency values undergo substantial changes prior to departure, prices may be subject to adjustment. The precise quoted rate will be confirmed at the time of your Egypt tour booking. Once your deposit is received, your tour price is locked and guaranteed, underscoring the benefit of booking early for your Egypt package. However, for reasons beyond our control, such as flight schedule changes or unforeseen circumstances that necessitate additional expenses (including extra overnight accommodations), such costs will be transferred to the traveler.

Important Airfare Information

Once your airfare is booked, please notify us of your airline and flight number for your arrival. Our dedicated EgyptTours.com staff will be eagerly awaiting your arrival at the specified time and day. Should you experience any travel delays or flight cancellations, please ensure you promptly notify our USA or Cairo offices so we can adjust your arrangements accordingly.

Meals & Mapping

Meals are provided as indicated in each individual program itinerary, typically noted at the end of each touring day. Please note that maps displayed on this website illustrate only the approximate locations of cities and points of interest and are not drawn to scale.

Our Responsibility & Limitation of Liability

Egypt Tours & Travel, Inc., an Illinois corporation operating as EgyptTours.com, acts solely as a marketing agent in arranging and securing all services for transportation, sightseeing, and accommodations for your chosen tour. Egypt Tours & Travel, Inc. does not own, manage, control, or operate any transportation vehicle, hotel, restaurant, or any other supplier of services.

Egypt Tours & Travel, Inc. shall not be held responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions by any supplier or third party not directly owned by Egypt Tours & Travel, Inc., nor for the failure of any equipment operated by such supplier or third party. Egypt Tours & Travel, Inc. shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property, or otherwise, in connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other services resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of God, dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars (declared or undeclared), hostilities, civil disturbances, riots, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, default of any third parties, quarantine, medical or customs regulations, acts of terrorism, sickness, strikes, epidemics, criminal activity, or from any other causes resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports, visas, or other documents. Neither Egypt Tours & Travel, Inc. nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be liable or responsible for any additional expenses or liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes.

Egypt Tours & Travel, Inc.'s responsibility to passengers carried in vehicles and aircraft for transfers, excursions, and tours is governed exclusively by the laws of the respective countries in which the tours take place, and no other country. All claims are subject only to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country where the cause of action arises.

The right is reserved to substitute hotels and luxury cruise ships and to alter itineraries when necessary for operational reasons. The right is also reserved to cancel any tour prior to departure. If any tour is canceled prior to its departure date, Egypt Tours & Travel, Inc. is liable only for a refund of monies received by Egypt Tours & Travel, Inc.

Egypt Tours & Travel, Inc. reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any tour participant should such person's health or general deportment impede the operation of the tour. In such an event, a refund covering the unfinished portion of the land tour will be made to the individual.

Egypt Tours & Travel, Inc. accepts no responsibility for costs that may occur as a result of a participant failing to secure adequate travel insurance coverage, which is highly recommended. Given that cancellation penalties can be substantial, we strongly advise purchasing comprehensive trip protection for your investment. Generally, your health insurance may not cover expenses incurred outside the USA. Egypt Tours & Travel, Inc. is not responsible for participants' visa or passport requirements, nor will a refund for unused services be made, nor reimbursement of any additional expenditure, if a participant is denied entry to a country for this or any other reason.

Any litigation concerning the trip may be brought only within the state of Illinois and nowhere else, and Illinois law will be applicable to any such litigation.

The receipt of your deposit and/or full payment will serve as an indication that you have read and expressly consented to these terms and conditions of your own free will.
