Day 1

Arrive Cairo where you will be met by our Egypt Tours tour manager, who will meet and assist, then transfer to your deluxe hotel the luxurious Marriott Mena House Hotel. Overnight.

Day 2

Meet with your Egypt Tours tour guide. Drive to Memphis on the edge of the western desert, the capital of the ancient kingdom, one of the most important cities throughout the history of ancient Egypt. From here drive to Sakkara, the vast necropolis of ancient Memphis. In the afternoon, drive to the pyramids of Giza. Cheops pyramid, the largest of the three, was built during the 4th dynasty about 2690 B.C. and is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. In front of the pyramids of Chephren, you’ll find the Sphinx carved from a single piece of stone, it is a lion with a pharaoh's head thought to be a portrait of the pharaoh Chephren. Enjoy a camel ride by the pyramids area, and visit the Papyrus Institution. Return to your hotel to freshen up. In the evening you will be met by your Egypt Tours tour manager and transferred to the Sphinx area to attend the magnificent sound and light show. Later you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 3

You will be met by your Egypt Tours tour manager and transferred to Cairo airport for your early flight to Luxor, upon arrival at Luxor airport, you will be met and transferred to embark your cruise ship. The M/S Mayfair or similar. Visit the temple of Karnak and the temple of Luxor. Overnight on-board your cruise ship.

Day 4

Cross to the west bank, visit the Necropolis of Thebes, the famous tomb of the boy King Tut, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari and Colossi of Memnon. Sail to Edfu via Esna. Captain’s welcome cocktail party. Overnight on-board your cruise ship.

Day 5

Visit the temple of god Khnum, guardian of the source of the Nile. Sail to Edfu P.M. Visit the temple of Horus. Sail to Kom-Ombo. In the evening, Galabeya Party, as well as games and dancing. Overnight on-board cruise your cruise ship.

Day 6

Visit the Temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris built during the Ptolemaic Dynasty from 180 - 47 BC. Sail to Aswan, visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries, and the Temple of Philae. Continue the tour to the botanical gardens, Kitchner Island, and the Agha Khan Mausoleum by Felucca. In the evening, Nubian Folkloric traditional show. Overnight on-board your cruise ship.

Day 7

Disembark your cruise ship where you will be met and transferred to Aswan airport for your flight back to Cairo, upon arrival at Cairo airport you will be met by your Egypt Tours tour manager and transferred to your hotel, the Ramses Hilton. Overnight.

Day 8

Meet with your Egypt Tours tour guide. Start your tour visiting the Egyptian Museum famous for its antiquities from Egypt's Pharaonic period, which dates back some 50 centuries and includes the fabulous treasures of King Tut-Ankh-Amon. Afternoon excursion to Old Cairo, visiting the very old Coptic Churches and the oldest Jewish Synagogue of Beni Ezra. Continue your tour to the Mohammad Ali Mosque, the Citadel of Salah El-Din, and the medieval Bazaars of Khan-El-Khalili, where you can bargain for your jewelry, hand-tooled copper and leather items. Return to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 9

You will be met by your Egypt Tours and Travel tour manager, and transferred to Cairo airport, helped with your check-in for your departure flight.

Abu Simbel

Optional Abu-Simbel Excursion

Visit the Great Temple of Ramses II, hewn in the rock, with four colossal seated statues of the king in front of the entrance. It was dedicated to Amun Ra, the Horakhti, and Ramses II. Then visit the King's wife's temple, the Temple of Nefertari. The entire site was threatened by the waters on the completion of the Aswan High Dam and has been preserved by International action organized by "UNESCO". All of the parts of the temple have been sectioned, cut, removed from the original site, and reassembled on higher ground.
